UM researchers use stem cells to treat severely sick COVID-19 patients

Researchers at the University of Miami have found that the use of mesenchymal stem cells can help fight the most severe cases of COVID-19 and reduce inflammation. In a recently published clinical study, more than 80% of patients recovered within 30 days.
